Over 25 years experience in semiconductor industry. Started many successful business development groups from ground up. Strong balance between technical and business management skills. Grew VLSI Technology Network Product Development Division annual business revenue from $30M to $130M in just three years. Knowledgeable in semiconductor, communication, and storage system markets. His development teams generated many industry’s first products like ATM switch and gigabit MAC. Outstanding capability in attracting and retaining highly skilled managers and technical personnel as well as generating the required infrastructure for business to succeed. Building effective teams through balance in motivation, delegation, and accountability. Has superb negotiation and financial management skills.


Ralph Lovelace, Sr. Scientist
M.S. EE, University of Connecticut

Over 30 years experience in integrated circuit design and management. Designed and full production release of circuits for flight simulators, inertial navigation, radar, television, Apollo, operational amplifiers and custom integrated circuits, optical isolator and infrared transceiver and serializer/deserializer ICs. Designed and patented the fastest optical isolator in the world at Hewlett Packard/Agilent. Designed several high speed serial transmitter CMOS output drivers at Agilent Technologies including a serializer/deserializer with more than 50 channels. Holds 7 Patents in integrated circuit design.


Bahram Fotouhi, Scientist 
Ph.D. UC Berkeley

Over 30 years of experience in IC design and management.  Key contributor to two successful start-up companies; Sierra Semiconductor, public offering in 1991 and Startech Semiconductors that was acquired by Exar Corporation in 1995.  Director of engineering at several small and public companies.  Developed many high speed IC blocks for networking and communication markets.  Many developed products are in mass production.  Published and presented many papers in the IEEE Journal of Solid-States Circuits and IEEE International Solid States Circuit Conference, ISSCC.  Author of 22 U.S. and foreign patents in the field of integrated circuits.
